Reason For Leaving?!?!?!?

I left my last job 2 years ago, and I have not worked since. My true reason was most importantly my father was fatally ill I mean seriously, he went to hospital and was basically given 2 weeks to live and sent home. My mom worked third shift and I have a younger sister. The job was a hour away and I was also pregnant, stressed and depressed I mean I would go to work crying and I was a CSR with inbound calls(so all of that was not good) so I quit my job like the third week in that April and my dad died June 1. So what do I say is my reason for leaving, because I feel like that job is why I cant find new work, because I left so abruptly and without giving a 2 weeks notice. And is there anything I can do.

You got to be kidding. It is a big bell curve with a bump at the end. Remove the bump and it is pretty even. Remove February and the graph changes dramatically. I would wait a few months to see what this year brings. Three of the four months have been relatively cold in 2009. It doesn't prove anything to me. Time will tell. I frankly wouldn't be surprised if it resumed warming but it hasn't yet been demonstrated to IMO.

Crab stuffed ravioli... make it or take the easy way out?

I'm planning on making a pesto alfredo sauce to go with crab stuffed ravioli. My question is should I make the filling and use wonton wrappers to make the ravioli or should I just add the crab meat to the sauce and use a cheese ravioli? I have frozen cheese stuffed ravioli(which are actually pretty good). I've never made ravioli with wontons before, but have made crab rangoon so I am familiar with working with them... just not for ravioli. Hi, look I think the first computer would run the game smoothly on low settings, the 2nd one on base price would run it smoothly in high settings. There will be games you won't be able to run with any of those computers. The 2nd one is your best choice of course, you don't really need any upgrade if you wanna run games like starcraft 2, total war shogun 2 etc. on mid-high settings. I'd say you go with it if you want to.

Is it a firmware error on the router when I keep getting disconnected on irc when wireless?

Whenever I'm on the wireless connection I keep getting disconnected from time to time, sometimes as often as every three minute. I stay disconnected for maybe a second or two. I'm using the IRC client mIRC. I have had the same problem with another computer. I tried with a cabeled connection, and with that I don't get disconnected.

What to use for Baja Bug sound proofing?

The entire interior is stripped out of my Baja Bug and predictably, it is extremely loud while driving. I am wondering what to use for sound dampening material. The former owner had a piece of one-inch thick foam rubber glued to the inside of the roof but it was crumbling away so I removed it. I was thinking of stuffing the body cavities behind the side panels with fibergl insulation, but have a feeling that won't work. I like the foam rubber inside the headliner idea. Also, I am installing a piece of chrome diamond plate on the firewall in front of the engine. Should I plan some kind of sound deadening material there? What about that paint-on stuff they use for boom-type car stereo systems? Any ideas from anybody?

well, general rule of thumb is dont do it. different subs with different power handling. you will never make your 2 channel amp push them efficiently because the resistance is either goign to be too low of too high. the lanzar max pro's aren't dual 2 ohm. they only make them dual 4 ohm. i have owned the 15's and known people with the 12's. i have talked with lanzar. the max series has single 4 ohm. max pro's are all dual 4. basically the max pro will be wired at 2 ohms, and the 2 kickers will be wired to 2 ohms. you CAN goto 1 ohm but the amp will die. i bet the 2000 watt amp will never actually push 2000 watts, whats the brand of it? in case it does just wire the 2 kickers together just like you wire the 2 coils on the max pro. then run it in series to make 4 ohms which the amp is stable at and your done.

Fever Question???????

I have a fever I believe. But heres the thing. Before i got this fever, I was running outside in the dark...Ofcourse ran into a clothesline and my neck got scd badly. Its really brused and I really can't move my neck. After of a night I got my fever. I've always been tired, It was hard for me to swallow or chew. My jaw/mouth can open but it doesn't open alot. Is it possible that my body is trying to heal my neck and thats why im having this fever because of my immune system? And what are ways to get rid of this fever?

So about the abs?

Ok I was just wondering about the abs. Im 6'2 and 120 pounds so fat isnt a problem. Sadly Im doing this to try to gain some wait since muscle does weigh more then fat. Just to clarify I dont have an eating disorder or anything. I eat all the time. I eat the worst junkfood ever too and usually set on my yet no weight gain. Orson Welles, if only for the cinematography. Every single one of his films are just gorgeous. He's fairly underrated, also, he made a lot of great films besides Citizen Kane. The Magnificent Ambersons, The Trial, Chimes at Midnight, Touch of Evil, Macbeth, Mr. Arkadin, F for Fake etc... The reason his body of work may not seem as prolific as Hitch's is for two reasons. One, after Citizen Kane almost all of his films were re-cut by the studio he made them under, severely hurting the finished product. Touch of Evil was only recently re-cut into the vision Orson had for it, and surprise, surprise it's one of the most visually stunning, and interesting films made in the last 50 years. And two, he only made 13 feature length films films as a director, 2 for television, and one doentary. Compare that to Hitch's 50+ films, and the reason Hitch has more great films becomes evident. Orson was the better filmmaker, though, but both were incredible.

What is this waxy build up around the thermostat of my hot water heater?

Hot water has not been as warm nor lasting as long. When cover was removed to inspect the element, a waxy build up has "melted" down around the electrical connectors from the top of the heater. Some of the connectors are corroded. This is not on the bottom section (2nd element) Is it supposed to be there? What does this mean? Is it fixable?

First time making home-made yogurt...did I mess up?

I'm doing the specific carbohydrate diet which requires that I make my own yogurt since it needs to ferment for 24 hours. Now, before I realized that I wasn't supposed to, I did stir it during the process because I wanted to check the temperature (people were complaining that it got too high and I wanted to make sure it was okay). It finished last night and I stuck it in the fridge. This morning, it looked curdled. I used a whisk and it actually smoothed out okay, but it doesn't feel quite as smooth as I would expect. It smells and tastes mostly okay, it's very sour but not in a spoiled kind of way. I don't know what it's supposed to taste like since it's my first batch. The texture feels a little off but I can't tell if the problem was that I fail at reading directions and stirred it when I shouldn't have, or if it really did go bad. Is it okay? Is it safe? Or should I scrap this batch and start over?

What electrical problem in a car can cause the stator of an alternator to be burned?

Since I have bought my car i replaced my alternator three times. When i bought the car the alternator i believe was bad so i changed it. A stock one was put back in it. that failed and i thought it was because of my audio system. i replaced it again with a 200 amp alternator and I was told that the car burned up the stator. i have replaced it again and will be going to an electrician but if anyone know the problem that is causing this it could save me a lot of money from taking it somewhere and getting charged tons of money. Confused...thin blood? i dont understand?

I'm confused about this because my Dad has thick blood and is on blood thinners but I think I might have thin blood? Today I received a shot and the blood went all the way down my arm and stained my pants...and it was thin. I'm not sure if I bleed excessively. Also, I sometimes find myself with an increased heart rate and it would be very random. But wouldn't that lead to thicker blood? 2003 Ford Focus has Po171 code? I have replaced spark plugs, wires, oxygen sensor, MAF...and the check engine light continues to pop back on after about 2 weeks with the same stalling effect...the only weird thing is...if I turn my air conditioner on..the car's idle will smooth out and not stall. I have taken it to a shop like 6 times in a 3 month period..before taking it in..we changed spark plugs, wires, oxygen sensor, MAF and oil...then the check engine light kept coming on so I just took to a shop in frustration. So they of course changed the spark plus and wires again..I paid for this and told them that was not the problem so I will be seeing you again in a couple of weeks when the light pops back on..well that was 3 months ago and like clockwork I take back every 2 weeks when the light comes back on..they can not figure out the problem..I think they have changed the oxygen senor twice..the car does not over heat or anything like that..just stalls without the air on and the light repeatedly come on and every time I take to Autozone it is the same code po171...there has to be one culprit that is causing this..please help!!!!

Shouldn't we register people without guns?

It seems like people who don't have guns should be registered by their state and then have to pay a few hundred dollars to help pay for the additional law enforcement needed to take care of their defenseless selves. Statistically speaking, their lack of firearms would also be increasing the crime rate, thereby placing an additional burden on the police officers. It seems like for that they should be charged more for choosing to not defend themselves, while instead seeking the services of someone else to do it for them, and for creating the need for more police due to higher crime.

I'm confused about how many calories I should be eating?

I want to lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks, and I'm confused as to how many calories I should be eating. I've started attempting to lose weight, and for the past two weeks I've been eating 1500 calories, and I've been doing exercise, using a stair-stepper, and walking my dog for 30 minutes, and I only lost 1 pound each week. So I used a calorie calculator because I thought I was eating too many calories, and it said I should be eating 1920 calories! I'm so confused! How many calories should a 5'2 teenage girl eat?

Um, it's really akward talking about this, mostly because it's abnormal for me, and I don't really feel comfortable asking about it, but I need help. Violation of FDCPA? Do I have legal recourse?

I recently turned in a vehicle that was leased and owe on a deficiency balance that I am unable to pay; approx $8,000.00. The financing company (World Omni) was told at time of turn in that I was unable to pay. I am getting phone calls from a company called CRS & ociates out of Dallax TX. I cannot find any information about this company. They claim that they are arbitrators for World Omni & they will be "getting a judgment" against me on November 1, 2010 for over $16,000.00. I requested information from the law firm handling the case and was told that everything was mailed to me. I inquired about the address it was mailed to since I received no notification. They claim to have mailed it to an address I was in over 7 years ago, and which was not even on file with World Omni. I requested the doentation be sent to me at my current address. I requested the name of the law firm handling my case. I was told that the law firm would not speak with me, only with my lawyer. I stated that I believe I had the right to the information, and the "arbitrator" from CRS stated that on a judgment of this nature, the consumer was not allowed to speak with the lawyers handling the case. That I should not be involved at all in my case, and if I wanted any information I would have to hire a lawyer. I thought everyone had the right to represent themselves in court, or is this just in criminal defense? And if not, isn't this a violation of the FDCPA? What can I do here to protect myself from a company that I think is "grandstanding" and misrepresenting themselves?

if you don't feel pionate about it you shouldn't do it but if that was an inforced rule most schools would have few teachers! teaching is about given but i gaurantee 10 years in the job and you will feel different, the work load i.e paper work and reports and if you become mngmt you dont have much time for the given back to society thing, there is so much planning and marking and twighlight sessions etc, it is exhausting, which is why the teaching proffession has the highest stress rate (fact). the main thing should be quality teaching both academic and moral but believe me when you look at industry , same level of qualifications etc , teaching becomes very tough, and the pay as much as you say you dont care becomes a major factor when you cant afford a holiday with your wife and two children because all the holiday s double/treble in price when the school holidays come. i work 50 hours a week but get paid for 32?? thats a pain, no overtime etc

When Hygienist's use anesthetic they usually start with a mild one called "Oraqix" this does through but usually on a milder scale than a Lidocaine. It also it sounds as though you had waited to do something for a while. In doing that the bacteria and infection most commonly called Gingivitis was taking over your mouth. Often times when we are scared/nervous our adrenaline is high, and our stress levels are as well. So when she started applying anesthetic she started with a very low amount. Often times the lower area is the one most attacked by hardened calculus and also more sensitive. As she was going along you felt pain most likely do to the fact that you were nervous/anxious, there was an infection there that had been for a while, and the hygienist was disrupting all of the bacteria. Plus we're not always sure how quickly a patient's body can process the anesthetic. In your case it is very normal to have the pain, and the re-application of anesthetic. The effectiveness of the anesthetic can def. be questioned against the fight the bacteria was putting up. My suggestion would be warm salt water rinses before bed, and follow any directions your Hyg. gave to you. Have no more fear (or at least try to be at ease), these processes are never easy but can pay off for your overall health in the long run. Biggest thing is a congrats to getting the nerve to take care of it now. The process does get easier as you go along, a little suggestion to help with both numbing time and self relaxation: to cut any numbing affects in about 1/2 the time after an appointment get your self a cup of Regular Black English breakfast tea...it helps, and for self relaxation if you have an ipod,or similar music device bring it with you charged and ready to use during your next appointment. Short answer: I would suggest getting a job at some sort of place like Starbucks. You can meet a lot of people that way. Also you can meet those guys you see at school, but just go on dates with them. If you go to parties with them, watch what you drink (roofies) and don't drink too much and feel them out. If they try to get you in bed that night well then you know they're not right for you. But you could also meet a guy who is legit and just wanted to get to know you better. You shouldn't generalize the guys at an entire school ;). You can also talk to those girls and become friends with them...doesn't mean that when you go out with them downtown or to bars that you have to drink as much as them or hook up with random guys. You can still have fun with them. Just don't be the friend who tells everyone else what they're doing is wrong. People thrive on differences, as long as there's some sort of similarity. If you can find anything to relate to them with, it's pretty easy to become friends.

Before TV, computers, microwaves and fast food. I don't remember being too hot in summer or cold in winter. I remember sitting in the floor and listening to MR. & MRS NORTH, INTERSANTUM and HOWDY DOODY on the radio. Mom cooked 3 meals a day on a kerosene cook stove. Was I bored and peevish because I had nothing to do? No, I could always go outside and kick a tin can around. LOL
