My car broke down.. what to do!?

I drove across the street, parked my car for about 2 minutes with no lights on or anything, came back to my car.. and it won't start. When I turn the key the starter just clicks (i guess its the starter).. or maybe there is a bad ground connection or something. ANYWAY.. the point is, I don't know anyone in this town yet and my family lives hours away. I'm low on money.. so what would you do if you were in my shoes? I don't like leaving my car in a college parking lot. Help a sista' OUT!
