If you suffer Tourette's, do people ever inflict punishment on you for uncontrollable obscenity?

People punish me for it, & when I explain to them about my TS, they say I'm making up excuses to get out of trouble. There were times where I've almost gotten arrested for disturbing the peace for my uncontrollable tics & outbursts. I've also lost jobs because of it, too.
