What?! Not MORE RECORD cold world temperatures for years in a row? How's Mann's Hiding the Decline working?

To the genuises saying you don't get the difference between climate and weather: Climate is the measure of atmospheric conditions over long periods of time...so why would Mann and his cronies have to HIDE THE DECLINE over the long haul? Why bother, if it's insignificant?
