Crab stuffed ravioli... make it or take the easy way out?

I'm planning on making a pesto alfredo sauce to go with crab stuffed ravioli. My question is should I make the filling and use wonton wrappers to make the ravioli or should I just add the crab meat to the sauce and use a cheese ravioli? I have frozen cheese stuffed ravioli(which are actually pretty good). I've never made ravioli with wontons before, but have made crab rangoon so I am familiar with working with them... just not for ravioli. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... wanted to make this with asparagus for Father's Day tomorrow.
