What digital camera would you recommend?

I want a digital camera for christmas but i can't find one i like and that's affordable. I like the flip mino but, but it doesn't take pictures; and i REALLY like the olympus stylus 790, but it's more than my family wants to spend. I want a camera that can take pictures, okay video quality, and has a speaker. The olympus is water proof which is nice because i'm a klutz. please help!
