Khmer prayer tattoo?

I want to get a prayer tattoo in Khmer, kind of LIKE Angelina Jolie's but the prayer is given to me. I am Cambodian so it isn't like I want to get a tattoo like hers just because. But I live in Michigan and I was wondering for all the people that got a clue about this stuff, you think going to a monk in the US for a prayer is just effective as a prayer from a monk in Cambodia? it's knida like getting a prayer from a priest in the US versus a priest in Italy or something. Please answer! thanks!
